039 Overcoming Paralysis when Starting a Business, with Louise Jowsey

Today’s episode is an interview with Louise Jowsey. Louise is a single mum to 2 teenagers. She published her first book last month called “50 things I learnt about life by 50”. Louise wrote this book for her daughter. Her friend inspired her to publish a book and 100% of the proceeds are going to a charity of which Louise is a trustee. “50 things I learnt about life by 50” is available on Amazon, Kindle and as a paperback edition priced from £2.95. All monies raised go to a Cambodian based charity that Louise is involved in, “The Sorn Foundation”. The charity built a school last year, today it has 72 pupils on roll. With Louise’s help, the charity uses education to empower women and children and fight poverty and inequality. Louise also has a free guide she’s giving away containing handy tips she’s used to build her brand on LinkedIn. It is a LinkedIn profile optimisation guide. And of course some book recommendations (see list below).
