033 Being present with your family whilst juggling a business with Katie Bowers

Today’s episode is an interview with Katie Bowers. Katie Bowers is mum to Rosie (5) and Albie (4) and runs her business The Surrey Skin Clinic from home. Katie follows the principles of Corneotherapy which is the practice of treating skin, whilst respecting the skin’s barrier at all times. She works with the skin’s natural function to create change that lasts. Her holistic treatments are truly bespoke, taking into account the individual needs of each of her clients skin. As no two skins are the same, her treatments aren’t either. Katie discusses her journey so far, being just over a year since launching. She shares her ups and downs of running a business with young children and finding the ever challenging work/mum balance!
I spoke to Katie about some of the challenges that she has faced juggling business and Motherhood, and she shared some insights with me as to how she has worked through these challenges. And of course some book recommendations (see list below).
